I placed my delivery order at and was told it would be about minutes, no problem, it’s New Year... read more My usual go to restaurant was closed and Aligor was recommended. I placed my delivery order at and was told it would be about minutes, no problem, it’s New Year and they’re busy. Nearly hours and calls later I finally spoke...to someone who informed me it would be at least another minutes. At this I decided to collect it myself. Arrived at the restaurant and was horrified to find others also collecting because of the delays. While I was there (another mins) my daughter rang and asked me to collect hers. While trying to pay, the staff member answered the phone to another customer mid payment and I had to ask him to put the phone down. He also tried to charge the full amount and not give me the collection discount. I’d like to say things improved when I got the food home but alas no. My daughter had a naan missing but, to give them their due, a replacement was promptly delivered to her along with a bottle of beer. I was very disappointed with our food. The onion bhajis were just a pile of onions (see photo) and swimming in grease, as were my daughters chips. My biryani tasted ok but again very greasy. As this was my first take away from this restaurant I will not be in a hurry to go back, if at all.

Based on my delivery tonight...I have decided that I will no longer use them as my preferred take away or dine in option. The delivery times given should be used as guidance only. The food is bland and tasteless at the best of times... I don’t recall the restaurant changing management, however. management need to look at the business before they have no customers left. Poor show Aligor which is such a shame when the restaurant and delivery had always been excellent. Tonight is the first time I have ever requested a full refund on any meal from anywhere....

The items were all left on the bill as expected until I pointed out that they never...arrived. The owner was friendly enough but I never understand anyone employing moody staff as it will cost you in the long run not the staff themselves.

However, today there was a slight issue with my order, but the manager quickly resolved it without any hassle. I was truly impressed with their customer service.
