Fab evening, great food, lovely staff and cracking music

How is this place 4 stars!? Is this really the best Bexhill has to offer? Probably. Food is very, very average. No better than a chain pub, and I hate that type of food. Atmosphere ok, but far too many drunk people. I like a drink but when I’ve visited there is always someone who has drunk too much. But probably is the best Bexhill has to offer if you are looking for a bar!

After a beautiful day on beach, i wanted to try fish and chips to end this beautiful day. I said my self to tried something new. So i decide to try this new pub after research on google map and review) First contact, first impression with cashier : false laugh almost to say to me i am welcome to eat at their pub. Second impression : overcharge me : ONE GLASS OF NON ALCHOHOL BEER 5.10£ VERY EXPENSIVE).FISH AND CHIPS 17£ decent) I wait about 10 min for food and i wanted so much to taste new recipe of fish. THIRD IMPRESSION: taste was ok, but after a while i was sick from fish and chips NEVER HAPPENING BEFORE), i was not prepar to find bones in fish. is supposed to be fillets fish nobody told me to pe careful). FOURTH IMPRESSION: waiters and cashier need to understand people are coming from different cultures and we are NOT all the same. We have different way to eat a fish not messy but DIFFERENT). .I feel i was treated with no respect, rude, unprofessional Although i pay my meal with my money from my pocket. Like a summary of what i describe here: Never back to eat at this pub expensive, rude, no fresh fish).
