Golden Chick - Bexar County

Family used to love eating here chicken was always fresh but that past few times they given us old everything fries,biscuit,chicken, stale would love to see an improvement

First time at a golden chick. The ladies behind the counter are amazing. The food was great. The free iced cream was delicious.

I would give no stars if I could. My husband and I went to get dinner for our family, and the store was CLOSED! No lights on and no signage as to why the store was closed. I saw movement in the store near the kitchen, yet when we called, no one answered the phone! Seriously, if a store is going to be closed, make sure people know why!

My Husband and I were on a time crunch and stopped to get a bite. After checking the reviews I said let’s give this location a try. (We just moved to the area) We hadn’t had breakfast and was looking forward to having Golden Chick one of my favorite fast food places. I normally get Golden Chic because of the freshness hot big juicy golden crispy chicken strips. Well today wasn’t the case. When we received our order the bread was hard the chicken did not look like Golden Chicks Chicken, It was thin more on the dryer side, but still looked somewhat edible. Pressed for time normally I fight to get reimbursement.. but we just ate it up. I wasn’t pleased that it wasn’t hot but just warm to the touch. My fries were just frumpy must been staying warm being placed under the heat lamp. Oh my husband side salad was good though. He to ordered the chicken strips as well his was on the thin and on dryer side. Now for the drinks, we don’t drink soda and and usually get tea since it usually good well that wasn’t the case of this place and you can tell that they don’t clean out the tea containers. The taste was really strong taste of day old tea ..
