it wasn't clear that the whole group has to order the winter menu or all orders from the menu. Weep pairings were nice, but not exceptional and explanation of the sommelier was hurried. was on the Bucket list and now is done. Maybe it won't repeat. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Jean-georges Beverly Hills:
had the Christmas dinner 3 curs meal for $250pp. the sea floor was dry and the ingwerbread dessert was too sweet. $500 plus control and gratulation for 2ppl should they run at least full, but we ended up in a pizza shop afterwards. I've been coming here for years, but after that, no more. View all feedback.
Nice chef restaurant. The service was very confused. In a 6 course menu we got 5 dishes in the wrong order. It was good, great steak and lobster. Caviar was great too. But is it worth the price? Not sure. Especially sitting in the tent felt a bit cheap and not adequate. The wine was ridiculously expensive. Better bring a bottle from home.
We loved the Roof top at this restaurant the staff was wonderful. Their food is very delicious the portions are just perfect. This is a must visit restaurant not only for the views while having dinner but also for the wonderful staff and amazing food. We recommend you make reservations on open table
The attentive service, food beef tenderloin was my favourite) and ambience made for a fabulous dining experience . We dine in the private dining room and would highly recommend for a special occasion.
We had higher expectations. The idea behind this fine dining establishment is to raise the bar, levels of all aspects. From food, to ambience, to service . It felt a bit short in all of these elements.
Love the food and location, but it is very unfortunate that groups of greater than 4 in size are still limited to only 2 BYO bottles of wine. We don't mind paying $65 corkage per bottle because we bring quality older wines that we can decant at home and bring to the restaurant ready to drink, but the strict policy limitation on 2 bottles means we will go to other restaurants when dining with greater than 4 wine lovers. Buying wine off of a short wine list that has mostly too-young wines to drink makes no sense for trying to enjoy a quality meal with friends. If JG can't make money on $65 corkage, something is wrong. FYI: There is no supplemental buy one off the list, open a 3rd BYO bottle for $65 corkage at JG. And there is no policy that provides for an upcharge to $80 corkage for the 3rd or greater of bottles. Each alternative policy is offered by other quality restaurants we've visited.
