I just received another 32 oz of dried... read more My daughter and I stopped in for lunch. It was great. I bought a 16 oz of dried cherries and we headed back to Eddington. I just received another 32 oz of dried cherries for more desserts. I will not buy dried cherries from a grocery store now that I can order them from the Cherry Hut. The Cherry Pie was great as well as the cherry BBQ sauce.

It tasted very goo... read more I really enjoyed the Cherry Chicken Salad. We got a side of the cherry bbq sauce and I put it on my cherry chicken salad. It was super tasty. It tasted very good without it too. I also tried it with the cherry vinaigrette and that was tasty too. I ended up buying a jar of the cherry bbq sauce to take home. If I was from the area, I would definitely go back.

As you might guess, ev... read more Cute Place, Good Service, Okay Food The Cherry Hut, in business since 1922. A fun little place in Beulah MI across from the Crystal Lake. As you might guess, everything is cherry at The Cherry Hut. I had a burger and onion rings. Both were okay but not something to smack your mama about. My son had a club and chips on sourdough bread. This was really good and it was a good size. The fetching Mrs. Rat had the pot roast sandwich on sourdough bread with Havarti cheese. This was fantastic! The meat alone was at least an inch and a half thick. It was tender and melted in your mouth. The cherry pie was good, but I have had better in other places. Our server, Riley was on the ball and very friendly. Not a bad place to stop for a bite to eat. The choices in the Platte River area are limited and The Cherry Hut fills a niche.

We also enjoyed their cherryade a cup of traditional chicken noodle soup.

Found the Cherry Hut thanks to my favorite travel companion (other than my wife and children) Roadfood. If your heading north on 31 towards the sand dunes, a couple miles south of Beulah while heading down a steep hill you will be captured by an incredible view of Crystal Lake. This is simply some of the prettiest country around. But don't gaze to long, once at the bottom the Cherry Hut is on the right can't miss it! Favored by locals and tourists alike the Cherry Hut gets busy on the weekends but it is worth the wait. Try the cherry chicken salad, hot chicken pie and of course a slice of cherry pie you may just take a whole one with you. Before leaving go next store and grab a bag of cherries for the road. Enjoy!
