Excellent local dishes prepared with a refined twist. The restaurant is clean and elegant and the service is very good too. The proprietor is a true gent of the old school. One of the best places to eat in all of Piacenza....and there are many fine places in this area to chose from! View all feedback.
What riccardobuscarini doesn't like about Agnello:
I was used to the previous management and my experience with the new one was really disappointing in terms of service. Waiting staff and food presentation were simply not up to the standards of such a restaurant as it is expensive. Panzerotti for example were basically thrown on a plate (was not pleasant to watch) and the desserts (see pictures) were over the spoons. Staff was slow and awkward. View all feedback.
We came here for lunch without a reservation in mid-July 2016, and were graciously hosted on the outdoor terrace by ristorante owner Vittorio Moschini and his staff. A nice view of the square from the terrace. Almost immediately, our table was filled with delicious appetizers (coppa ham, pancetta ham, olives, peppers, bread sticks). The home made pasta was second to none, and the variety of desserts capped off this splendid afternoon (we had no room left for ice cream). You can also come sit on the terrace to order a simple coffee. No doubt the best restaurant in Bettola, and definitely worth the trek from Piacenza, if you are staying further up north.
Enjoyed a wonderful lunch on the outdoor terrace in a picturesque piazza. Typical piacentine specialties like salami, coppa, pancetta, pisarei and tortelli all paired with local frizzante red wine! Will definitely return.
I was at lunch with my friends. we ordered panzerotti and tunaed calf. The panzerotti are their strong dish, really delicious. plentiful rations and well presented dishes. but what makes the difference in this restaurant is kindness, professional ability and attention to the customer by the owners. the customer is never abandoned: waiting for the first to arrive they offered us a glass of rose, a plate of parmigian stairs and a great salami among other things) that alone was worth the entire cost of the lunch. before the coffee accompanied by a precious chocolate) a bowl with delicious strawberries also these offers from the owner. the place is located on the wonderful square of the village and the well-appointed rooms are embellished with a great wealth of flowers that you will find everywhere.
Great ristorante...authentic...in the center of the piazza...see the statue of Christopher Columbus...they say he was born in Bettola.
After a nice walk on a bettola, a fantastic and regenerating lunch. recommended meat appetizer and excellent choice between the first of the food of pleasure. very friendly and very kind staff. I'll definitely come back.
