Discovered this restaurant whilst out on a lunchtime drive, wish we had not.I chose the chefs recommendation of sander, as I have enjoyed this fish many times i... read more Discovered this restaurant whilst out on a lunchtime drive, wish we had not.I chose the chefs recommendation of sander, as I have enjoyed this fish many times in the past.It came in small pieces in batter, cooked so long that the fish was so dry and very chewy, and the batter very crispy. Very disappointing as I was looking forward to it, as it sounded delicious.My husband had the menu of the day, the soup starter was very nice but this is where it ended. The next course should have been ham with a mustard sauce with mashed potatoes. Instead it came with fries, and the mustard sauce was terrible.Will not be returning.On a plus note the interior was very nice, but did not compensate for poor quality cooking.
