The menu offers a wide variety of the best breads in the Quad Cities. We have many favorite flavors, and we particularly enjoy their pickled onions. It's a must-try!
As always, Meat Heads offers exceptionally high-quality meat, paired with knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful butchers. If you're new to purchasing meat, they take the time to explain the different cuts and will even ask how you plan to prepare the meat to help you make the best choice. They are particularly known for their outstanding roasts, and with so many varieties available, it can be tough to pick just one. However, I have been thoroughly satisfied with everything I’ve tried from them—chicken, steak, bacon, and even their deviled egg potato salad (which is amazing, by the way), as well as their baked beans (which are also incredible). Moving forward, this will be the only place I buy meat from!
I absolutely love the ribs! They don’t flare up on the grill like some I’ve had in the past, and the skin is easy to chew. First, they marinate them in beer, then grill them, and finish them off back in the beer after they’re nicely browned. Cooking an onion in bacon fat is a delicious touch! The beef is fantastic as well. I only wish I had more money to spend while I was there. It’s a shame they don’t open earlier, as I’m often in the area on Monday mornings.
They have a very wide selection of special brazs and we landed on the bacon Mac and cheese. Seriously the best bust I've ever had! I just got a couple of rubber bears. You've earned my business and I'm going to live 45 minutes away again and again.
Best meat market you'll find in the Quad City area! New to the Quad City area from MSP and was looking for a local, high quality Meat Market. Was referred to Meatheads and I was extremely impressed. Everything about this place is top notch. Parking is super convenient, establishment is super nice and easy to find, staff is extremely knowledgeable and super helpful. Their variety of fresh meat is unlike any other place I have been to before. For me personally, the best part about this place is that they carry venison, elk and other Wild game.
