Reviews - Tulum
Reviews summary
Tulum delights with its generously sized burritos and accommodating menu tailored for vegetarian and vegan diets. While the white rice can be bland, customizing your order—like opting for no rice—enhances the experience. Customer favorites include the roasted almond tacos and Mayan burrito, both easily adjusted for vegan preferences. With prices ranging between $5 and $8, sharing a meal makes it budget-friendly. Although the cozy space has limited seating, the takeout vibe suits its charm. With a diverse selection of salsas and self-serve beverages, Tulum is a must-visit for flavorful, on-the-go dining.

We really enjoy the roasted almond tacos, which we always order vegan (without cheese) and with corn tortillas, along with the guacamole appetizer. It's delicious! While I don’t think they have specific vegan entrees, they are great at making adjustments to accommodate a vegan diet. View all feedback.

Definitely one of the best restaurants ive ever been toVegetarian options: Theres some dishes that are vegetarian friendly but i dont go for them personally.Kid-friendliness: The place is easy spot safe for any kid to go to
I visited Tulum to check out their hard shell tacos that call The Taco on their menu. These are fried flour tortillas that are generously filled with lettuce, cabbage, cheese, creme sauce and a choice of meat. I chose pork, which was quite good and reminded me of the filling for a pulled pork sandwich. The only down-side was the tortilla shell broke down during eating and this resulted in a taco salad that was finished with the spork supplied with the order. It was quite large and a single taco was plenty. I also ordered a pork mini-rito which, as the name suggests, is a small burrito. It contained rice, cheese and the same pork used in the taco. My wife chose the vegetarian tacos on corn tortillas with rice and beans. She said they were quite good. Tulum is located directly across fro Lehigh University with street parking and it appears most of their customers are to-go for students. The interior is small and accommodates 13 people if full. Tulum is a good value for what we had and worth returning to again when in the area.
Great service but the burrito the rice wasn’t cooked properly and had a bit of a foul smell.
Phenomenal everything! From the delicious fresh food to the friendly staff you cannot go wrong with picking this spot for a damn good meal. I’m always switching it up but huge fan of the burritos (anything w veggie is awesome), The Taco, nachos, the guacamole. If you never don’t know what to get pick something random and you’ll definitely love it.

Tulum offers excellent takeout burritos that are quite large, but you can request a smaller size if needed (I’ll definitely do that next time!). The restaurant is very accommodating for vegetarian and vegan diets, happy to make substitutions to their menu items. I found that the burritos had too much rice during my first visit, as the white rice was rather bland, so I ordered mine without rice on my second visit and will likely continue to do that. The food is tasty, with a nice variety of salsas to choose from. If I remember correctly, burrito prices range from about $5 to $8, and you could easily share one between two people if you're on a budget. The parking situation isn’t great, as it’s right across from Lehigh University, and the dining area is quite small. This is definitely more of a takeout or on-the-go place. You order at the counter, but they bring your food out to you, and the beverages are self-serve.

We really enjoy the roasted almond sauces made vegan (without cheese) and the guacamole appetizer! Everything is great. While there aren't specific vegan entree options that I'm aware of, they are accommodating and can make adjustments to create vegan-friendly dishes for you.
If you ask her to make it vegan, it turns out delicious! However, for some reason, they couldn't do that with the quesadilla.
I absolutely love Tulum! It has a quaint, hole-in-the-wall vibe that adds to its charm. I always order the Mayan Burrito and ask them to make it vegan by adding extra veggies and removing the cheese crema.
I eat here whenever I'm in town. I usually order the roasted almondtaco without milk on softshell maistortillas. You can also get it in a Burrito – either the usual size or a smaller part if you don't want to fill yourself. These include collared greens on the Taco and in some of the Burritos, along with roasted white and sweet potatoes. Very small inside, but I always have a place.

This place is an absolute hidden gem. Hands down 10 of 10. From the wings to the Tacos, this place is incredible. Very recommended.

Good Mexican place right next to the University of Lehigh. Wingadilla is a must try if you like Quesadillas and their wings are also decent.
I absolutely love Tulum! It's a cozy little spot, and that's part of its charm. I always order the Mayan burrito and ask them to make it vegan by adding veggies and leaving out the cheese crema.
