While the food quality remains steady, the missing signature item is clearly felt. Service is limited to takeout, with dinner prices typically between $10 and $20 per person.

I like my sesame chicken (General Tso) to be crispy with sauce, but this was completely mushy. I tried reheating it in my air fryer, but that ended up overcooking it. The vegetable lo mein had very few vegetables—almost like plain lo mein. However, the vegetable rolls were really good, and I enjoyed those!

The tofu in my dish was cooked perfectly, as were all the vegetables. The vegetable spring roll was deliciously crisp and flaky. My friend's General Tso's chicken was also very good. We had a great experience at Ruby Cafe and will definitely be back!
