My coworker and I visited here during a work trip. The staff was really nice. Our waiter John was everything. Very polite, knew the menu well, and was nice to look at . Cozy vibe inside. Feels like a big Italian grandma's dining room. The food is expensive. Like really expensive. I paid like $16 for an app, $36 for my entree, $3 for my soda and $9 for my dessert plus tip. It was worth it though. Good for a date night... View all feedback.
What Gayle Smith doesn't like about Mama Ninas Foccacheria:
My best friend took me to this place for lunch one afternoon. He was raving about this place to me for quite some time. First off, the food was good. No complaints in that department. I recommend the chicken parmigiana. The issues I had with with this establishment was bathroom. It was not well lit dangerous. I twisted my ankle on the steps while trying to wash my hands in the mens bathroom. The other issue I had was... View all feedback.
My husband and I absolutely love this place! The service is wonderful and the food is simply amazing. I have been 11 or 12 times now and I live in Maine. It’s an 8 hour drive for us, but it’s totally worth it as a treat once in a while. Everything we’ve ever ordered there has been incredible. Favorite appetizer is the Balsamic Calamari, and we almost always get a seafood dish. If you love Italian themed food, give this place a try.
Stopped by here for a business meeting, Food was delicious reminded me of old school grandma's cooking from NYC which I was pleasantly surprised to find in PA! It's hard to find such exceptional restaurants that match that old style flavor that I miss! Definitely recommend Mama Nina's to everyone especially those missing that old style tastes we loved when we were kids from Grandma! Service was pleasant and atmosphere was welcoming as well for any occasion be it business or bringing the family to enjoy, Definitely looking forward to returning soon to enjoy some more dishes from them! I apologize for the empty plate pic the garlic bread was so delicious it was quickly devoured by everyone so quickly before I was able to take a pic of it! lol
Sal ROCKS! We drove to Center City, Bethlehem for pre-Musikfest day of 2021. Parked car and walked up the alley and voila, MAMA NINAS caught our eye and ultimately satisfied our stomachs. Sal placed a basket of garlic knots on the table for us. His service was efficient, personable and his manner was impeccable through our entire dining experience. We ordered a Mama Nina salad: fresh ingredients of Kalimantan olives, fresh orange sections, Spring mix, tomato, etc $9). The four pieces of eggplant Parmigiana over angel hair and red sauce tasted great and red sauce wasn’t over salted! $15) The star of the table was the Fettuccine Alfredo: light, creamy, and very satisfying and fresh. $17). Cheers to kitchen staff. It was really good. Dined al fresco on Main Street and it was a great experience!
My staff and I visited here during a working trip. The staff was really nice. Our waiter John was everything. Very polite, the menu knew well and was nice to see. Cosy mood inside. Feels like a large Italian Grandma's dining room. Food is expensive. How expensive. I paid like $16 for an app, $36 for my duck, $3 for my soda and $9 for my dessert plus tip. It was worth it. Good for an appointment evening, business meeting, etc.
Great food and service. Cosy atmosphere with large portions. It may seem a bit expensive, but as I said, food is good so it is worth it. That was our second time there and we really enjoyed it.
