Cheetau Lodge - Bethlehem

Very nice place..the animals is totally gorgeous..rooms is good.. Only when you go to the bar..there is no one to talk to when you are alone..

We certainly did not expect what we found! The welcoming was warm and hearty. The food exceptionally good. The accommodation clean and comfortable. Sunday morning breakfast was fit for a king. It was really wonderful to experience being close to the big cats. They are so well looked after! What an experience to be woken during the night by loud lion roars! Marie and Zandie are great hosts Zandrie a little live wire and very knowledgeable!

We stayed 5 days in December 2016 in Room 5 adjacent to the cub cage. It was a fantastic 5 days! Friendly hosts, fine restaurant and peaceful surroundings (even with the wild cats around). We were permitted into the cub cage and it was such a thrill feeding the cubs twice a day. They got used to us fairly quickly and we played! We'll not likely forget our stay at Cheetau Lodge. Sam, Lars, Phil, and I had the most wonderful Christmas here. The accommodation is impeccably clean and very comfortable. The food is delicious, the sounds of wildlife from the mountains are truly remarkable, and the staff are exceptional. Marie and Bok van Zyl consistently go above and beyond, and we're already looking forward to booking another visit. Overall, it's definitely a place you should experience under the African sky.

The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere, and the staff are incredibly friendly and passionate about their animals. I highly recommend trying the 'Basket' dish. Thank you for your warm hospitality!
