Bethesda Bagels is my favorite place to get a Bagel sandwich on the weekends. Parking is tight, but this is always the case at weekends / every day of the week in Bethesda. I appreciate that I can order custom what I want (painted, protein, etc.) and it does not seem like an inconvenience when ordered. The whole wheat all bagels are my favorite. Ranks to all other breakfast sandwich places I was to. View all feedback.
What Dhruv Jaiswal doesn't like about Bethesda Bagels:
This place use to be really good. Definitely over hyped. Went here for lunch and my bagel was so hard I was afraid I was going to chip a tooth. If you?re in a bind and need something quick go for it. Other than that I rather just make a bagel at home. View all feedback.
I had a poppy seed bagel with egg and bacon— it was delicious and abundant and I give it a hearty thumbs up. About $7.00 for a great breakfast.
Bethesda Bagels never disappoints. Even when there is a line, it is always worth it. Got the St. Patrick's Day special green bagel.
There are plenty of breakfast options around here. But for something quick/something for your vegan or dairy free friends, like me, you won't want to miss this bagel place. The bagels are vegan and they have vegan cream cheese! We tried the orange cranberry and banana nut bagels. Both are good but love the orange one better. The workers are very nice.
Love starting my mornings with bagels! When I found out Bethesda Bagels had tofu cream cheese, I had to come try it. It was pretty busy for a Friday morning with patrons frequently coming in and out. The wait for our order was about ten minutes. There is no indoor seating but there is a standing bar outside and some public benches nearby. I ordered the everything bagel toasted with veggie tofu cream cheese (also added tomato but when I unwrapped my bagel, there was no tomato it was on my receipt and there wasn't an extra charge for it so I didnt bother going back in to ask for it). The veggie tofu cream cheese had a lot of bits and pieces of veggies and tasted just like regular cream cheese, which was pretty cool, given that its dairy free and made out of tofu. The everything bagel was nicely toasted but a little salty. I think there were chunks of salt on it.My husband ordered the bacon egg cheese on a sesame bagel with added avocado. His bagel was huge! There was a big folded egg omelette and crispy bacon bits. There were two slices of american cheese (you could choose another cheese, they have a lot of options but American was the default). There was a good amount of sliced avocado. The toasted sesame bagel was delicious. I'd definitely come here for more bagels!
3.5 4* for hitting the spot and getting some much needed calories in me after a long bike ride. I wish they had seating inside but they're on the smaller side. I ended up scarfing down my bagel at the back of the shop (too cold to eat outside .What I got:Ham, egg, and cheese on an everything bagel the ham, while not thick, is pretty good. I was happy to find out it wasn't the cheap, thin sandwich slices you get at the deli. The eggs in the bagel sandwich weren't that impressive. I appreciated the gooeyness of the cheese. (And I love how you have cheese options!
