Ya Mon! Island Grill - Bethesda

Really great eating. the application from spicy to at least spicy is jolt chicken curry chicken brown onepot huh. Personally, I enjoyed the curry chicken more than the brown one. the sweet potato here is absolutely amazing!

I'm always skeptical about Jamaica restaurants because they sometimes cut corners and don't use authentic ingredients or methods of cooking. I stumbled upon Ya Mon Island Grill in the mall yesterday and decided to give them a try. When I tell you, the food was on point. Everything was tasty but the sweet potatoes which is not typically paired with a Caribbean meal was slap your mother good. The jerk chicken was fire. I'll be back

Just finished eating the stew chicken, sweet potatoes and mac n cheese. I literally devoured the entire plate in 10 minutes and was so sad when I finished it. If I could give this place 1000 stars I would. The sweet potatoes are exactly what I expect when I order them, they are absolutely perfect. The chicken is seasoned so well and juicy. The Mac n cheese is perfect and has coating on the top. Please try this place, you won’t regret it.

No one was there to greet me. I understand that we are in a pandemic but when I was served the man was talking on the phone and not wearing gloves or a mask. When I wanted to return my food, he had an attitude and was talking about me to the person who was talking on the phone. It was very unprofessional and I do not recommend coming here especially in the pandemic.

Yummy ?My family have enjoyed the curry, jerk and brown stew chicken. All tender, well seasoned and delicious. Love the sides as well. Rice and peas are cooked perfectly. Mac n cheese and sweet potatoes yum!
