I really enjoyed the service from the waiter, the food he suggested was excellent, and the drink selection was fantastic. The interior of the restaurant is beautiful and the outdoor terrace is accessible. This place is perfect for those looking for a nice dining experience. Planta is just as good as Fancy Radish, if not better. View all feedback.
What happy banana doesn't like about Planta:
We got the bang bang broccoli which was the best thing we tried, and then the bao slider and the spicy creamy rose pasta. It was overall fine but not what I expected given the hype View all feedback.
Planta is single handedly one of the best plant based restaurants I have been to. Everything on the menu has quality taste and ingredients to match presentation. The setting of planta is fine dining with outdoor seating available.I can’t say anything bad about any item on the menu. Highlights are the sushi and pizza. Bang bang broccoli is insanely good and the carbonara is the best vegan pasta I’ve tasted.
After eating at planta sites in toronto and miami beach I was thrilled to have arrived in the DC area. right in the heart of bethesda row, an eclectic collection of shops and restaurants, planta bethesda is a bright, airy room. I was at this place a few times and three more places once. the service is friendly and the atmosphere shy simply from raised. if I choose my last meal, the bao sliders would certainly be part of it. it is a cushion of teig wrapped around a crispy fried mushroom, gurke and dizzles of hoisin and a creamy sauce. seriously, it's really amazing. Since each order is only a bao, however, they must order one for each person at the table who wants one. planta also has different sushi dishes, and I am a great fan of the inari. during a previous visit I had the spaghettini alla carbonara (with mushroom bacon and loved it. my friend and I also loved the baby gem caesar salat. while a beautiful Instagram-worthy court, the avocado lime tartare was not my favorite (my friend tasted it), but I liked the tomaten tartare that made me think of an Italian restaurant. (yes, the choice of food is quite eclectic beside cocktails has planta also drinks with zero-safe releases and a selection of juices. the easy being green felt so healthy and had the least kick from the ingwer. I know I have to try one of the pizzas at my next visit.
Everything here is so delicious and a tonne variety- they have sushi, pizza, pastas, apps and some of the best salads I ever had in my life! Many of the dishes share size, so they bring their non-vegan friends to show them how amazing plant based food can!
Everything vegan? YES AT LAST! Creative and delicious dream come true in this higher-end restaurant with dishes ranging from spicy “tuna” sushi to spaghettini carbonara and pizza. Cocktails and food arrived so fast — almost like magic!
This is a really great restaurant for a date night, the sushi was incredibly well made. The funghi salad was also a big hit. The portions were also surprisingly generous for a more upscale place.
