When going to Rehoboth beach, you need to go to Grotto's pizza. Sam was our waitress, and she was excellent and attentive to our needs that we went back a second night and asked for her again. She was super sweet and willing to help whatever the request!! The pizza was awesome, the caprese salad was amazing with that balsamic glaze, and the loaded fries with gooey cheese and bacon came to the table still smoking hot!... View all feedback.

The service from our waiter was wonderful BUT I ordered the chicken parm waited approximately 20 minutes for my order when I got my food it was SO over cooked burnt you couldn’t even cut it with a knife. The food was fresh and tasty. My order was correct and prepared on schedule. The staff was friendly and accommodating.
The service from our waiter was excellent, but I had a disappointing experience with my meal. I ordered the chicken parmesan and waited about 20 minutes for it to arrive, only to find that it was overcooked and so burnt that I couldn't even cut it. I sent it back, but after another 25 minutes, I received a dish that was just as bad, if not worse. It's important to note that the restaurant wasn't busy at all during this time. When I asked to speak with the manager, she had a poor attitude, which only added to my frustration. Additionally, they mistakenly served my mother-in-law's children's pizza to the wrong table, so we had to wait another 10 minutes for a new one to be prepared. Overall, I will not be returning to this restaurant and will look for another Grotto’s to visit instead!
I can only give this restaurant 2 stars because it was clean and the staff was friendly. Unfortunately, the food didn’t meet expectations. The fries were cold, which I consider one of the worst mistakes any restaurant can make. Fries should always be hot and crispy, not soggy and cold. Additionally, the meatball sandwich was not well made either. Since the restaurant wasn't busy during my visit, there really was no excuse for these issues.
