The sushi in Bethany is absolutely delicious! The fish was incredibly fresh. I tried the tuna and avocado salad, the northern bank roll, and the scallop sashimi. Everything was fresh and perfectly portioned—sometimes sushi rolls can be way too big, but these were just right. This might just become my new favorite sushi spot. The ambiance was great too, and the staff was very friendly.
I celebrated my birthday dinner here last night and everything was fantastic! The sushi was the best I've ever had, and the service from Wes was outstanding. He even made us delicious pear martinis! We allowed Wes to choose our sushi and appetizers, and we were thrilled with his selections. It was an incredible experience. Thank you! I highly recommend this beautiful restaurant to everyone!
Cocoa Lo is a hidden gem for sushi in Bethany Beach. We thoroughly enjoyed both the Bethany Roll and the Kilauea Roll. The fried ice cream was exceptional as well. Our server, Wes, was incredibly enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the menu, and it's clear he truly loves the food he serves. I highly recommend dining here!
The food was delicious! Had the tempura appetizer, which was perfectly cooked, not a bit greasy and the diving sauce was delicious. The Delaware roll was nicely prepared, fresh and delightful. The record was like art. That was my first time, but not my last. Very recommended.
This place is truly a hidden gem. We know sushi (we lived in Japan for a time) and this place will surprise you. It rivals many top sushi places we've enjoyed across the globe and it seems to be a secret right here. It feels like an upscale mom and pop place. The staff is friendly and the sushi chef is top notch. If you are in the area and love sushi this is the place. My wife even wants to come all the way back here from our place in DC just to experience this spot again.
