Reviews summary
Abel's delivers authentic Mexican and Tex‑Mex with standout al pastor tacos, sizzling fajitas and supersized burritos. Generous portions, homemade tortillas and complimentary chips, salsa and queso back a menu that’s affordable, fast and reliably delicious. Friendly, attentive staff keep service moving in a colorful, hand‑painted dining room tucked in a southeast Oklahoma City shopping plaza; beers (including frosty “fish bowl” servings) are popular. Note: the exterior is dated and the location can be tricky to find; exercise caution if drinking and driving.

Since I discovered Abel's, I can't stand to eat any other Mexican food. We go there AT LEAST once a week. The food is delicious, the wait staff is fantastic. I'm trying to eat my way around the menu and everything I've had so far has been wonderful. Try it. You'll be glad you did. View all feedback.

BEST food, service.Keeping it local since I live in Warr Acres.REAL Mexican food, not that Tex-mex ****.loyal customers. even all my friends go there.
A Beer or Two Here. Take precaution about having a couple of beers here with your meal. The Warr Acres cops like to show off and pull over drivers. I do not trust this police department and have made my last visit to Able's.
Incredible! This is one of our top choices whenever we're in the mood for authentic Mexican cuisine. The tacos calvillo are bursting with flavor and absolutely delightful, along with many other dishes on the menu. The service is consistently excellent and very attentive. Without a doubt, this is one of the best restaurants in Oklahoma City! We often find ourselves comparing other Mexican restaurants to this one when we go out.
This is one of our favorite Mexican restaurants. We frequently visit Ixtapa, Mexico, and the food here is as close as we can get to the real thing. If you're looking for an authentic Mexican dining experience, this is the place! Be sure to try a cold beer served in a frosty fish bowl—you won't regret it. I usually go for the Bestek Ranchero with shrimp, and it's always delicious.
