Visited this café/restaurant recently as we wanted a quick meal and opted for the menu del dia. Have to say the food quality for the price was exceptional and we will be using this restaurant regularly in the future. Its more of a café feel...but don't let that put you off as its well worth a visit. Its in the town centre opposite BBVA bank so parking is limited but there is parking on the dry river bed just near about a minute walk. If you are visiting Betera or live in or near the town you have to try this restaurant. I guarantee you will not be disappointed.
We have been here in august two days prior before we would leave back home (netherlands). There was a carnival in the village going on so when we passed the restaurant we thought it would be a nice place to come back to later...on for a meal. On the spot we made a reservation for that evening. The chef himself took the reservation. So on the apropriate time we got back and wanted to go inside....that didn't happen as the power went down in the entire village so the kitchen was not functional. Things like that can happen so we waited until the power would get back on. After about an hour (we went for a walk) there was still no power. The chef himself came to tell us in person that it was expected that the power would be restored at around late for us. So we made a reservation for the following day. When we left to go back to our car all the lights in the village came back on...what a nice surprise!! So we did return immediatly and we seated right away. This restaurant is very good, as is the staff. Friendly and very professional. The chef is a great chef. All the dishes were great! We had a starter of foie gras, sublime! And also some pata negra...needles to say that we enjoyed it very much. As a main we had patatas bravas (very good some octopus and to be honost the rest is out of my memory .. We will return here definitly the upcomming summer!!
