What Bran W doesn't like about The Bethesdan Tapestry Collection By Hilton:
I've been trying to reach the sales office and cannot get through. No one will return my calls. I've called multiple times at different times of day and they never answer. Is it super busy or something? When I finally was given an email, it said that the email was blocked. How much do I have to try to get you all to take my money? View all feedback.
This hotel was delightful. Contemporary rooms, warm hospitality, good food and coffee available. My only thing was I couldn't figure out how to change the temperature in the shower. But I got by.
Like most of us, I'm busy. There's more on my to-do list that I can do. For the past 8 months, I've been trekking from Richmond to Bethesda for medical treatment. The appointments are irregular, sometimes unexpectedly rescheduled. In the beginning, I tried out 5 different Bethesda Hiltons and Marriotts to find the one that suited my preference best. The answer was the high floors of this Hilton, one of its Tapestry Collection sites. Why I prefer it: comfy bed, good views high away from noise, efficiently styled with couch, bed, desk in a bright, central location. Updated basic stall-style bathroom (I'm not a tub person). A word of caution, I do not prefer the cheaper rooms in this location. Pay for a high floor. So, what's the icing on the cake? Cathy Walters, head of housekeeping. On my last mad dash, I was fresh from an Italian vacay, so I locked my wallet in the room safe. Bleary-eyed the next am, I tumbled off to my procedure, then drove back to Richmond. A day later housekeeping called me to tell me they had found my wallet. I was so rushed that I hadn't realized I'd lost it. Cathy was persistent in her efforts to return it to me, even when my next appointment was postponed. 7 weeks later, I met Cathy. My wallet was packaged tightly and returned safely. Thank you, universe, for people like Cathy. I'll never stay anywhere else when I come to Bethesda.
I stayed for a month and a half for a class. And even though i really hated they're parking lot, Gita and Martha made my stay. Every morning they were really kind and helpful while grabbing breakfast before work.
My experience at the Bethesdan was good. It was awkward at first because my first room that I had, the refrigerator was in the bathroom. They are undergoing construction currently and I had to move room halfway into my 6 week stay. The waitresses Martha and Gita at the restaurant were amazing!
So very disappointed. Called several hotels searching for one that is pet restricted due to my severe allergies to dog/cat hair and dander. Was assured that this hotel fit the requirement, so i booked here which is 30mins from my work site location, only to be met with pet hair and dander. I'm literally suffering from burning eyes and sneezing. Pets have definitely been in this room. They do not offer room service and the room could definitely be cleaner. Not worth the book at all!
