Tacconelli's To Go - Bessemer

This place rocks. I love it. I had a sub sandwich on Thursday and was really good. Then had a pizza on Saturday. Wow the pizza was amazing. Great flavor and the crust was soft but tasty. Great place to eat.

Called in an order for take out at 6:45pm Friday for a sub with pepperoni and banana peppers.Told it would be ready in 15 minutes. An hour later the guy behind the counter brought it out and said finally hey . After I got it home there were no banana peppers on it.I think he needs to be educated on customer service and to check with the cooks for a time for pick up. Probably won 't return now.

We were taking a trip to all of the surrounding waterfalls of the Bessemer area and happened on this place after seeing such great reviews. I was overtly pleased to find out that these reviews were absolutely correct. Everything is delicious. My significant other had the ribs, baked potato, and cornbread. The ribs were messy and tasty (the way we like em) and the cornbread was super buttery and thick. Truly so dang good. I had the BBQ pulled pork sandwich with sweet potato fries. It's a monster of a sandwich but very filling and a bit sweeter for pulled pork than my usual but definitely no complaints here about that. Sweet potato fries were perfectly cooked and had enough crunch and thick chewyness to them. We also ordered the jalapeno poppers for an appetizer. There was a total of 6, they were a good size with ample amount of cream cheese in them and deep fried to supreme crunchiness. If this sounds good to you, surprise surprise! We ordered dessert too. And I'd recommend even going here just for the desserts. We shared a piece of caramel apple pie cheesecake and then we each had a midnight snack when we got home with the Oreo brownies. The cheesecake was my partners favorite and the brownies were mine. But you can't go wrong either way. Definitely worth the stop.

Ordered on October 6, had a fish fry and a wrap. The delivery driver was very polite and delivered phenomenal service. We will definitely order again.

Had some big 18 pizzas. The food was great, and they whipped it up for me real quick. It's a great stop if your just driving by.
