Basilic-Instant - Besançon

Strolling down rue Granges, Besancon we came across this small restaurant. On entering we were warmly greeted by the owner, which set a very good tone. We enjoyed the homestyle vegetarian/vegan buffet and considered the price to be very reasonable. This is a small restaurant with a difference and we would recommend it for a lunch stop for vegetarians and vegans alike!

This vegetarian restaurant isn't just for vegetarians! Really tasty food, a wide range of dishes on offer (soups, quiches, vegetable dishes, lasagne, salad... and desserts too. By reservation only in evening, but open for drop in diners at lunch time (all you can eat buffet for 12,90€, drinks and desserts extra very reasonable and take away also offered. Self service so no waiting to order, staff friendly and helpful. Great location on a quiet side street in the town centre.
