Despite mixed reviews, Nonna D's Italian Kitchen offers a pleasant surprise with a nicely done location, decent menu, yummy food at reasonable prices, and friendly staff. While some have reported issues with reservations and service, the overall dining experience seems to vary based on individual visits. With large portion sizes, delicious dishes like linguini al limon and lasagna, and exceptional service from staff like Roman, Nonna D's is praised as a gold standard for Italian food and dining. Patrons are encouraged to give this restaurant a try for a satisfying meal in Berwyn.

IT DOESN’T EXIST ANYMORE!!!! Made a reservation and drove to the location for it to not be there and to have a phone number that is out of service. Then I couldn’t cancel to make a reservation elsewhere because the app told me I needed to call the restaurant directly which obviously wasn’t possible.

We started with a house salad with grilled calamari to share for the table pretty decent. Enjoyed the Linguine Alla Nonna plentiful with lots of seafood served hot and delicious. Also had the lasagna which my husband said was really good. Another noteworthy mention was the Linguine with clams in a white sauce also plentiful and hot. The desserts we shared were the tiramisu and cannolli which were also good. All the food was definitely good. However service left a lot to be desired. We waited for all of the drinks we ordered and had to ask other wait staff for follow up. When Matt the manager arrived things improved but it was noir busy enough to warrant the delays with only two other tables with patrons. Would return for the food, but hoping the wait staff up their game.

My friend and I decided to make the 30+ minute drive to Berwyn on a weeknight in order to earn 1000 points, and we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. We started off with a generous portion of sausage, pepper, and potato appetizer, which could have easily been a meal on its own. The house salad with the house dressing was just average, and the bread was disappointing - dry and with a hard crust. The Parmesan cheese was bland and came from a shaker, and the oil was nothing special. My friend enjoyed his lasagna, which he said was flavorful and had many layers. I, on the other hand, was pleased with my spinach ravioli in chunky marinara sauce. The wine selection was mediocre, and the cannoli we shared was good but not outstanding. Oddly, they only had regular coffee and not decaf. Despite some mishaps with our order, the bus boy efficiently packed up our leftovers. The service was a bit hit-or-miss, with the waiters lacking enthusiasm and knowledge about the menu. However, the overall quality of the food made up for it. The restaurant was moderately busy and we found the prices to be reasonable. We left satisfied and agreed that we would be willing to give it another chance in the future.
