What User doesn't like about Nectar Philadelphia:
Nektar was quite disappointing! We ordered a sushi-sashimi combination specifically because it was supposed to include sea urchin. When our dish arrived, it was served without the sea urchin. When I inquired with the waiter, he spoke with the sushi chef, who then informed us that they were out of sea urchin and had substituted it with salmon roe instead. I thoroughly enjoy dinning at Nectar. The food is always incredible and the service is amazing. I cannot recommend this place enough!
They usually sit us in the restaurant. But for some reason, they sat us at the tables near the bar. Our table had fruit flies flying around. They definitely need to deep clean that bar
This was our first time dining at Nectar and we were not disappointed! The signature cocktail list was extensive and the blood orange martini was perfectly tart and refreshing. The dim sum bento box for two was a good way to try a few of the different appetizers but was overpriced. Entrees were excellent—I enjoyed the sea salt crusted shrimp and beef tenderloin(cooked to perfection) and my husband had the scallop, risotto special. We ended with the peach crumble sundae for dessert. Our server, Robert, was friendly, personable, and gave great recommendations!
Nectar is a local favorite amongst friends. Tonight did not disappoint! Ordered a bottle of red , one appetizer and then another. A great way to enjoy Nectar’s delicious food. Of course the donuts for dessert are a must. Everything was just so enjoyable. Thank you!
Our server was very helpful in selecting dishes based on our input. They were all delish. She was attentive. Great experience!
