Grandpa's Cafe - Berthoud

Left pretty disappointed, the breakfast burrito was very bad. The hash browns were undercooked, and the cheese was definitely sliced American cheese. My girlfriend got the chicken tenders and they were clearly frozen store bought. Also the fry’s were extremely soggy and lacking any flavor. And both our stomachs hurt.

We eat at Grandpas far more often than I should admit. Excellent breakfast chicken fried steak is the best around. But my favorite part is going for dinner. They serve from two menus; the regular grandpas burgers and fries type menu and also the Colorado Curry menu. Their butter chicken, saag, tikka masala is all to die for. And super convenient when the whole family isn’t in the mood for curry. If it’s been awhile since you’ve been in, you really should go have a meal, and then go back for dinner too!

I didn’t think it was possible to mess up biscuits and gravy but they know how! Soda was flat and tasted old. Servers rush you in and out. We didn’t even sit before we were asked for our drink order. Then 1 minute later another server wanted our food order. We were handed the bill like we needed to leave asap. Will never go back

Food was alright but I got a sandwich to go and there was no sauce on it, and they were pretty rude when I picked it up. Would not come back again.
