We visited Grandpa's Cafe for breakfast and were thoroughly impressed by the delicious food, quick and friendly service, and inviting atmosphere! The warmth and kindness of the staff truly amazed me. This restaurant is a wonderful asset to the community!
I recently dined at Colorado Curry, located within Grandpa's. When you arrive, you'll receive menus from both restaurants since they're in the same building, though it may not be immediately apparent from the outside. The host and servers were very welcoming. I tried the shrimp biryani accompanied by raita and an iced chai. The spice level was just right, and the portion was generous for the price. Overall, the food was tasty; we also sampled the vindaloo, chicken tikka curry, and saag paneer. While the flavors were enjoyable, some dishes seemed slightly overcooked. The naan was fluffy, and everything was served hot.
This restaurant has a wonderful home-cooked meal vibe. I chose a dish from the extensive breakfast menu, while my husband immediately went for the curry. They also have a great kids' menu! The service felt warm and attentive, reminiscent of classic family-run establishments.
Friendly people. Good diner style food. Cozy spot to eat and unwind. I'd definitely go back.
I recently dined at Grandpa's with my favorite client, Mark S, who recommended it due to its convenient location. The restaurant boasts a clean, quaint atmosphere, and we were promptly seated by a friendly female staff member. However, our experience took a downturn when our waiter approached our table without a greeting or smile, and seemed indifferent to my inquiries. The food, unfortunately, was lackluster. My order of huevos rancheros was served in an unconventional manner, submerged in a pool of pinto beans with their liquid. While the dish contained the basic components, they were obscured upon arrival, and the taste was nothing noteworthy. Overall, Grandpa's was mediocre service and uninspiring cuisine. But this is the only about one dish. There are others I might try.
