All the waiters are extremely attentive and friendly. You feel like being home.

Not cheap but high quality and easy-going informal atmosphere. I had pigeon and my girlfriend had foie gras, both at Eur 27. Half a bottle of Gewurtstraminer from Josmeyer was eur 24. It all came to eur 86 for two, I'd say it was worth it. We did not have so much time to linger around because we had more tastings waiting for us, but this restaurant would be a pleasant environment to spend a leisurly evening. The wine list was less than unforgettable though, it could be improved with more options.

There are 3 restaurants in the village and when we first wanted to get an evening meal, L'Abre Vert was the only one open. Three days later when we decided to go out again we didn't bother to look at an alternative choice - this is a very good restaurant indeed. On our two visits we had both set menus and they were excellent. service is attentive without being too fussy or overbearing. The wine list is strong on Alsace (of course) but has good stuff from around France as well. On our first visit we were not happy with the wine we ordered and it was promptly replaced. Unreservedly recommend the restaurant.
