Our first impression was a very well maintained natural swimming pool set in an extensive garden, peaceful and very relaxing. The host greeted us in his , as we have meanwhile learned normal , laid back and charming manner. Don 't bother to ask for a Menu , he has it all in his memory and it changes from day to day.We ordered starters and a Graubrasse Sea Bream for 2 with a good Austrian sparkling wine to complement the lunch-menu. Note: The fish is always fresh from the Rungis market in Paris and the host only accepts the best quality. The selection varies from day to day. The starters were excellent a Scampi/ Melon salad with an 1AAAAA dressing, and an exceptional Blunzen blackpudding strudel never heard of this before but it was excellent Now we get to the WOW !!!!!!! , The main dish arrived and both looked and smelled , almost heavenly. The cook had really excelled himself and obviously knows how to prepare fish, cooked and spiced to perfection. No white tablecloths crystal glasses or best silverware but a fish cuisine Par excellence !!!!! In our opinion this restaurant is a real Geheimtipp for everyone searching for fish dishes prepared with imagination and skill. We will certainly return and really wish that summer would last all the year in Burgenland.

The friendly cook will help you, if you do not like some special meals. Fish is the main focus, but other specialities (far of the mainstream) are often offered. The most friendly restaurant we have ever visited. Owner, waiters and cook. Perfect!
