L'auberge était fermée, nous avons pu obtenir le numéro de téléphone du patron grâce à la serveuse du bitrot voisin. Les patrons sont vraiment très serviable. Nous avons pu obtenir une chambre à l'étage pour environ 90 CHF (douche commune). Chambre simple mais propre... juste en face de l'église : eh oui nous sommes en Appenzell, cloche à 5H, 6H, 7H etc... mais si vous marchez comme nous, au bout de 2 jours on n'ente... It was an unforgettable evening, the food was great, great wines from the region. Service very friendly, charming, always attentive, the waiter knows his trade, is fun and we would like to come back more often!!
The food is very good. I also liked the ambience. The service was very friendly and prompt, and that's especially interesting at lunchtime. However, the price was a bit high for a lunch menu, which is why I had to deduct a star.
