We found this place through simple intuition and found ourselves there both nights we stayed in magical Bernal. The couple that owns this place literally designed and hand built the environment. And it didn’t stop there. They divide and conquer the elements within. With her in the kitchen and he behind the bar, when they aren’t mingling and connecting and elevating the mood for all. These two luminous people have managed to put their very hearts and dreams into every molecule of this place. From the exquisite design of the place to every bite and sip you absorb, you will be restored and revived. This is what dining out should be. The welcoming comfort of friendship mixed with intuitive cuisine that merges with magic and makes life more vivid. At home in the SE United States there is a food style called Soul Food. Called this as it’s made with love. Folk is the elevated embodiment of this philosophy. Please go. Your entire being will thank you.

Very implicated in the local life too! She takes the time to explain you every single dish from the menu, all very original and innovative . And mostly local ingredients You want to try them all! A very nice selection of wines too! We definitely will come back to Bernal, for this restaurant !
