You can stay in the beautifully decorated interior or outside on the deck in the middle of citrus trees and offer a view of the roofs of the lower old town. Her...Amaretto with pistachios was a pure joy! A staircase leads directly to the Aare River, which connects the botanical gardens with other sights and attractions. Or you can take a bath directly if you are brave enough.

The prices were very reasonable, the quality was excellent and while the elections were somewhat limited, we didn't understand why there were so few people who...because of the fine weather to enjoy a light meal or a drink there. From there we went along the path along the river to the rose garden and then climb to the plateau where we found out where all the tourists had gone to eat. Café Fleuri had two charming women who spoke English (as we do not speak German). Soup prepared at home, salads with choice, smoked trout or an interesting mix of greens along with bread and some tempting desserts were possible. So if you like to go for a walk in Bern and are close to the river and the Botanical Gardens, give yourself a cheap treat check-out their choices... let's make an assessment! For me the peaceful environment (no traffic, no masses) along with the pleasant surprise to find something from the beaten path near the tropical greenhouses for a perfect place to have a relaxing lunch and coffee
