We were ignored for 20 minutes on Friday, even though the cook/preparer! was at the next table twice. We then went somewhere else. The next day, I immediately... read more We were ignored for 20 minutes on Friday, even though the cook/preparer! was at the next table twice. We then went somewhere else. The next day, I immediately spoke to a friendly waitress and got my order quickly. The veal sausage was delicious, but the meatball, which the cook/preparer! had probably forgotten in the microwave because it has nothing to do with cooking, had been left there. The waitress then asked, and whoosh, my meatball landed directly on the plate, past the grill. It didn't taste good at all, there was hardly any meat in it, just a lot of bread...not nice for KaDeWe, but for €5 I still expect decent quality.

The next day, I immediately app... read more We were ignored for 20 minutes on Friday, even though the cook/preparer was at the next table twice! So we went somewhere else. The next day, I immediately approached a friendly waitress and got my order quickly. The veal sausage was tasty, but the meatball—which, by the way, isn't really cooking—was apparently forgotten in the microwave by the cook/preparer (because, well, it's not really cooking). The waitress asked about it, and suddenly my meatball landed directly on my plate, bypassing the grill. It tasted awful, there was hardly any meat in it, but lots of bread...not good for KaDeWe. For €5, I still expect decent quality.
