Wilson"s The Prime Rib Restaurant

After a long overnight trip and a few hours of sight seeing, your body is already asking for a nice protein replenishment. Well here is he place to have it. Amazingly tender, well roasted and cooked to perfection. It is indeed PRIME

I was staying in the hotel Crowne plaza, and this was the restaurant of the hotel. I went there without reservation and I got my table immediately. The service was great, I tried to speak in German but when I switched to English everyone spoke it as well (didn't try with Spanish or French ;) ). It takes a while to get your plates, like 10 minutes for the soup, once finished 10 minutes for the carpaccio and the again 10 minutes for the rumpsteak (which was great in medium rare). As someone who's not German, I found it strange getting my beef cut in a plate, with just the meat. They asked me if I wanted something as a side dish (like salad, veggies) but they have an extra cost. The sodas are only 200 ml and they cost 4 Euros which I find really expensive (in France is about 3 Euros for a 330 ml soda). Anyway, the steak was great, he service is great, all of them, keep it that way.

Had the chance to have a dinner at the Wilson . The set up was very good, in a private section. It was a dinner for 65 persons. Set menu The service was slow, but at least helpful. The food unforgettably bad. Reheated , try and brown. what's wrong guys?

The Service was Mediocre to say the Least, I ordered a Rump Steak, Medium Rare and what there was of the Steak was , Medium Rare But Half Of the Steak was Fat and Gristle, I asked the Waiter Re The Steak, His Answer was, That you need Fat for the Steak to Cook Properly, I can Accept a Little Fat on the Outer edge of the Steak, But Not the Amount of Gristle.

Wilson's is one of the best steak restaurants I know in Europe. Meat lovers should definitely try it. Location at Crowne Plaza Nurnbergerstrasse makes it easily reachable from main street in Berlin. It offers refined service, great menu of food and wine. prices are however quite high, depending on what your preference is. Wilson's offers nice loyalty program which is for sure worth coming back. I always plan my trips to Berlin to have at least one dinner here. You rather won't feel disappointed.
