Volksbar - Berlin

Volksbar, not the Berlin people at all, just a bunch of English speeches want to be hipsters who don't sell you if you don't stand right!? For a friendly experience drive around the corner to nightlife...

I was in Berlin on a weekend. The bar was in a good location and seemed nice. But the service was not good to complain the drinks below par enough for me and my friend. We were made to... in the wrong and embarrassing way we were spoken. We were not offered an alternative drink and no refund! Go without saying, the customer is never right in this facility.

8 of us went for a drink ordered 4 cocktails and some beers. Two margarita and a whisky sour. The drinks were so badly made we asked them to please redo drinks. We were then bombarded with strange comments from the bar staff who said...we should have ordered 1 drink first tasted it and then decided if we want another?!?!! The next barman we asked to taste our drink (the one who made it) he said I don't drink alcohol so I wouldn't know so the next barman who did drink said hmm its not great. They then Refused to remake them and said it was tough. We refused to pay and sent drinks back to then be pressured into paying the bill. Someone who seemed more senior came over and said' there is nothing wrong with the margarita, we have south Americans drink here all the time and they love them'. So shocked we left. Disgraceful place

Really unpleasant vist to volksbar. Won't be going back. Please avoid if you like to have alcohol in your expensive drinks or like to be treated with any respect as a customer.

The location is cozy and centrally located. Sometimes service can be slow. I recommend the place for drinking.
