victoria bar - Berlin

It was a good cocktail bar, but the service and the doorman were very rude as the other reviewers had already commented. especially after the covid I thought that the bars must be happy to welcome customers back, but not in the victoria bar it seems. there are many other amazing bars in berlin like bar central or buck and stretch.

Tbe definition of the bar. many cocktail Choises and all of them with high quality. the personel is full to with the character of the bar. always an excellent choise.

Oh well,...there are many other amazing bars in Berlin like Bar Zentral or Buck and Breck.

We were told that this place was THE cool place. And it is in so many ways. Great decor, extensive drinks list, cool ambience. I tried the Old Fashioned with Tequila, amazing. BUT. This place also has its head so far up its own......You ring...a bell to get in and the door is answered by this old man who is quite possibly the most miserable person alive in Berlin right now. Rude, unforthcoming and did I mention rude. The other totally weird thing was although the ambience was so cool it was utterly ruined by a total lack of atmosphere. No music, no noise, no life. I’d give this place a miss as for me, I’d rather be immersed in the flavour of a place than sat on a stool with no life happening around me. A definite miss.

Of us met up here for pre-dinner cocktails. Smart, cool joint on Potsdamer Strasse serving great quality drinks delivered by an amenable, clued up mixologist. Good spot.
