The Grand Berlin

Went for lunch and had their steak option. It was decent. The service was horrible, but I was told that the service industry is like that.

The service was great and so were the recommendations for drinks and food choices. The Irish hereford dry-aged steak with a side of chanterelles was perfect. The Grand mule drink is also recommended. I would return.

Was treated to an excellent dinner while on a business trip. They serve an amazing selection of beef, with great accompaniments and top wines. Cozy. Friendly staff.

This is a very good, more upperclass restaurant with high quality food. The waiters are somewhat impersonal, but friendly. They are specialised in serving grilled beef of differents origins. You can't miss by choosing one of these. Real meat lovers will want to have it grilled rare and they do that very well. Price quality of this restaurant is not so good, since you have to pay for all the additional servings such as a small salad and french fries. The fries were baked much to hard, but that is the opinion of somebody whose origin lies is the country that invented french fries :-) For the money that you will be paying, you can find numerous other good restaurants in Berlin.

Fantastic meal. Great to see Irish steak on the menu. We were a group of 7 and were all more than happy with the food, wine and service.
