Schlorrndorf im garten eden this is a wonderful, enchanting place an oasis of hospitality and culture. you already realize that the berlinerin comes into the shimmer... but it's really 100% really nice here. bad enough that I haven't found my new favorite place in the green since my childhood, but all the more beautiful that I found my new favorite place in the green: just a few steps next to the oldona road, to the corner of the bus stop, lies the teehouse, in the middle of the English garden. and I thought, embarrassing, you would have to be covered in the miles, so that you can laugh the ox... a huge, really beautiful terrace, surrounded by meadows, trees and landscaped beet English country house atmosphere with beer garden charm. on the meadows you can lie around hanging on the terrace. there is a not too lush food and drink card with affordable, solid prepared food and the usual selection of drinks, also to acceptable trips 0.5 bier 3,80, alkfrees 0.5 for 3,50 . this is really really spicy and tastes sooo good! for this, the fringes here is not the original from berlin, but a new invention that I have been observing with distrust for a long time and so far only tried once. because she tastes too sweet. for the concert summer there are two free concerts from the 14th july to 15th september each Sunday, each around 16 and around 19 o'clock. last year was great, I'm already looking forward to the new season. when concerts take place, additional stands are opened: there is a really good bratwurst for example. for the service is a team likeselflinker, well trained, patient young people responsible. I rarely experienced such a friendly team in such a large, well visited local. Inside, the teehouse offers a kamin!!! and a pretty noble, but not excessive chic facility. everything works lovingly assembled, there is also something to cuckle, namely changing exhibitions of artists who present their works here. without change, I come here in the garden in 20 minutes, as the berliner named the English garden after the British botschafter who co-founded it. at the time of 1952 when the animal garden was a treeless oed. Wow! Ein Kleinod inmitten der Stadt. Fußläufig vom U Bahnhof Hansaplatz entfernt, liegt dieses Teehaus. Vom Lärm der Stadt, keine Spur! Wir hatten einen netten Kellner, aufmerksam und schnell. Wir saßen draußen mit einem bezaubernden Blick in den englischen Garten und genossen die Teatime. Tolle Idee, leckere Kleinigkeiten auf einer Etagere und dazu eine Tasse Tee, perfekt! Alles lecker! Wir kommen definitiv wieder!

Tolle Location, da mitten im Tiergarten. Sehr freundlicher und aufmerksamer Service. Allerdings gibt es einen Stern Abzug, da man in dieser Preisklasse durchaus eine frische Tischdecke erwarten kann. Essen und Wein waren lecker. wir kommen wieder.

Ein großer und ein kleiner Saal, hübsch eingerichtet, Kronleuchter an der Decke... Tea-Time ist hier Programm. Viele Teesorten und Scone mit clotted creame oder z. B. Apfelstrudel. Es gibt aber auch viele deftige Gerichte. Die Bedienung ist sehr freundlich. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Das ist wirklich unglaublich. Mitten in Berlin, im Tiergarten idyllisch versteckt. Den Bundespräsidenten als Nachbatn und die Goldesel gleich vor dem blühenden Vorgarten. Eine ansprechende Speiseauswahl, originelle Weine und das Gefühl die Seele baumelt ! Herrlich entschleunigend !
