This was my Favorite place in Berlin for over 2 years, where I went once or twice a month. Not having been in Berlin for two years but passing by the capital this week, I went there twice. I won't be going back, just very disappointed with the menu, the proportions, the flavors and the much higher prices. Of all the dishes I ate during the two meals, nothing caught my attention. If you are looking for a typical British Sunday roast, look no further (at the time of writing it seems to be the only place in Berlin anyway). Delicious meat (I had the lamb shank. But also has beef, pork, poultry, and fish), plenty of veg, potatoes, Yorkshire pudding, and gravy. The bilingual staff was very helpful and friendly.

The chicken is recommended. A better one will be in vain in Germany. Unique. The Potsdamer Stange (Bier) and the evening is already perfect.

Unfortunately I think it's important to know (for customers and for the owners) that the last time I ate here, the person gave us the bill which was correct, however after paying by card I noticed there was an extra 3 euro charged to my card. It was a business account so I asked for the tax receipt and it stated the original amount. I asked the person for a correct receipt and it came back with a €3 tip added. I didn't say anything to the guy because I can afford 3 eur, however it is the customer's choice as to whether they want to tip in this country or not. Service staff are paid well, and they shouldn't be stealing from customers (because that's exactly what this is). Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: €50–60
