Close to the Kochstrasse Metro Checkpoint Charlie this is a reasonably priced no frills restaurant. We ate here twice and I had the Salmon Tagliatelle on both occasions delicious. The waiter should smile a little more! Would recommend View all feedback.
What Beatrice Seiler doesn't like about Sotto Sopra:
Ordered a salad with chicken I got a plate of lettuce. A tomato and chicken. Not good. My companion had spaghetti carbonara which was OK, but rather dry. When presented with the bill, we were told ‘cash only’. Not a good thing to bring up...now. Would not go back or recommend View all feedback.
I had a bad opportunity to visit berlin, and I wanted to eat italian, but it was the worst idea. the staff and eating are regrettable and the cleanliness is desirable. very disappointed also of the quality of the place. I wouldn't recommend. this place.
Very quiet, probably because of covid. not very exciting everything quite common that is a good service.
I went for a quick lunch, as I was at checkpoint charlie and it started to rain so that my run around schedules changed. the pasta was moderate as the bolognia sauce. not a very friendly staff and they only take cash no. credit cards.
Bad food and bad service. worst pizza ever. and tripadvisor crazy couse they need to write at least letters. I'm sorry for the hate
Stopped in while visiting Checkpoint Charlie for lunch, delighted we did. Good honest food, nothing fancy but delicious. I had the Penne Buongust which was lovely, my partner had the Tagliatelle Salmone and he's never had so much salmon in his life, it was fabulous....Would definitely go back.
