vriendlief had dit tentje ontdekt, tripadvisor checked en gegaan. voor ons de eerste keer dat we S(j)rilankees o.i.d. na het bestuderen van de kaart, hebben we ons laten adviseren door de illot superior. he were twee bladzijdes met typical just. ik bestelde kothu rohdi met zalm (nr 48), zonder koriander. vriendlief bestelde appe with mas (nr 55). both overtroffen ze onze guard. en dat ook nog voor een heel mooie prij... What Metin Nowak doesn't like about Restaurant Sigiriya:
We spent two months in Sri Lanka and were excited about trying again some local food. The place is nice and clean, the owner is friendly...but the food is really disappointing. The menu is way too long and confusing whereas it would be perfect to...simply have a good quality rice&curry, some kotthus, some hopers and string hoppers. Quality over quantity. Super leckeres und abwechslungsreiches Essen. Service war exzellent und sehr aufmerksam und freundlich.
In a word Srilankan dishes, if you never tried it... Now is a good time! Longer version for the brave I've passed by that restaurant several times..
Very nice Srilankiches dinner. We sat outside end March although it was only around degrees, it was a nice atmosphere and quiet with pleasent..
Very good menu options. Exotic curries, all spices mentioned at the dishes description. Organic meat, organic coffee. Great atmosfere
I have been here before and thought I’d go again. The waiter was polite but seemed not to know anything about the meals. I ordered a creamed chicken soup and chicken biryani. The soup was delicious but the biryani needed more flavour. Not as good...as the first time
