We had Deutsche Oper tix for 6pm so arrived at 4:30 pm for dinner. The Ubahn lets you out right at the opera, and the restaurant is directly across the street. The fella asked us if we preferred English menus, but it isn't necessary for...italian food. I had ensalate Rosati (mista plus artichokes and olives) and canneloni special and my husband had a lovely pizza. Glass of wine and limoncello and relaxing atmosphere.... View all feedback.
What Ayse Lang doesn't like about Restaurant Rosati:
A nice place to visit before the opera. The pizza was not perfect (a couple of seconds in the oven would have been required). Pasta and salad were better. The service was perfect. View all feedback.
We had a glass of pro secco each at 4.50 euro, two pizzas at 8/9 euro each, half a liter of piano Grigio and a coffee for 37 euros. Good value, great service and nice atmosphere. May well go back tomorrow.

We came here for dinner after visiting the opera over the road, as it was quite late and we were ravenous. The staff were very friendly and came straight over and started talking to us in Italian they clearly like having a bit of...a chat and a joke with their customers and the atmosphere was very relaxed. The pasta and wine was good, and the opera cast turned up shortly after us was interesting to see them out of their costumes, and they were really nice to the diners who were applauding them for their performance. If you go to the opera, swing by here afterwards.

Regulars for the opera were here. Extremely inexpensive but good Italian cooking.
One of the few Italian restaurants, which is located next to the Deutsche Oper, offers a great variaty of Italian dishes. I always order the lasagna or linguini with the homemade Basilico sause and it smells and tastes incredibly good! The restaurant's wine is of...a full taste. The staff is very friendly and kind and they always bring fresh bread and oilive oil paste with your main dish! Free wifi also is a plus.
