I developed a taste for Indonesian food while traveling through Amsterdam some years ago but never found the equivalent in Berlin until I found this restaurant. It's informal and...friendly dining at its best. I always try a new specialty when I go, and I have not been disappointed with the range of flavors, the quality of the food or the friendliness of the personnel. They have steady customers from the neighborhood, Indonesians students and business people mainly who are visiting Germany and people like myself who are especially fond of the food. The mango lassa is excellent on a warm summer evening. and they have a full range of appetizers, some with an especially tasty peanut sauce. The portions are ample and the prices are very reasonable. On my next visit to Berlin, I expect I will make a return visit. If you prefer a formal dining experience, this may not be to your taste, but if you like Indonesian food in an informal setting, Nusantera is a real find
