Miele - Berlin

Stumbled on the coffee shop within this lithe shop while trying to find somewhere for a drink and bite to eat. Between two, we had a green tea, ginger lemonade and a slice of black forest gateau. Great food, drinks and service. Reasonably priced. Would recommend.

Went in for a quick coffee and ended up staying an hour. The coffee was great, service was good and I really liked the atmosphere. What more does one need in a cafe.

What a lovely discovery - a coffee shop attached to a domestic appliance showroom. Clean and stylish with delicious savoury and sweet meals and snacks and very attentive and professional service staff. We ate here twice - both times we succumbed to their cakes, coffees and juices. Be careful of the blueberry milkshake though - it is so healthy and full of goodness that it isn't very tasty. We couldn't quite work out why because what went in was good but it tasted very bland and had an odd texture. The litchi/grapefruit juice was excellent though and the coffee was consistently good throughout Berlin. However, the highest accolade to complement the seriously good quality cakes was the excellent, professional, friendly and helpful staff. Not only did they all look like models but they were really helpful, friendly and engaging - the best service we had in Berlin. Back to the cakes - in our view, baked goods in Germany are amongst the best in Europe. Light, delicious flavours and textures, fresh, pastries that taste good, are never soggy and always light, and never too much of anything - cream, icing or dry cake. I'm not a big cake eater, but I enjoyed everything I had and wished I could have tried a few more. This place is a real gem.

25. November, I had agreed to discuss various kitchen appliances. In advance, I had taken different device models into the narrower selection that I wanted to consider in terms of functionality. The stars say everything. Very good customer-oriented advice. No praise, but clear representation of the different device properties and differences. On request there were also honest recommendations for my needs. In short, I now know what functions I really need in the devices I want to have in addition and what is excessive/unreasonable for my purposes. The friendly and professionally versed lady also took the whole time I needed, although I had or wanted this or that again shortly before the end of the consultation. A catalogue that represents the entire devices and functions better than Mieles' Internet presence, as well as some interesting cookbooks were also present.
