When I found out this place was inside a hotel I was skeptical, but Yelp assured me that it would be good. We were NOT disappointed. Not only was everything delicious, but the service was great, AND the most expensive item on the menu was 16 euro. Great value for food of this quality, and in a hotel nonetheless. What a pleasant surprise!

The menu is a rather unique German style cuisi... read more I was quite pleasantly surprised to find this little gem in the Grand Hyatt hotel while staying for a conference. The menu is a rather unique German style cuisine with tapas style servings. The food is quite well executed, with 3 4 dishes being about the right amount for most people. Going with a group allows for sharing and a small group could taste nearly everything on the menu. As with much German food, there aren't a lot of options for the vegetarian, but there are a number of salads. The menu changes seasonally, so certainly spring and summer would afford more veggie choices. The wine list focuses on an excellent selection of Rieslings. Most importantly, a number of dry Rieslings, which can be a little tough to find in many parts of the world. Finally, the service is excellent friendly, responsive and well informed about the menu and the wine list. Certainly a good choice before visiting the theatre across the way, or while staying in the hotel.
