A great piece of history...it has been there a long time...serving very traditional German meals and a great range of beers. While at dinner I was flicking through...my lonely planet book and to our surprise max and Moritz featured as a place to have a meal at! Our meals were lovely and they were served up relatively quick. Highly recommend as a place for dinner. There’s easy public transportation by bus.

It sits in a great position near to Charlottenburg S-Bahn Station and always just seems to appear after I have had few beers. The staff are great and always...friendly and cheerful and the Kebabs are fantastic. On Friday night I ordered two Doner Kebabs and a bottle of beer, all for a great price of 10€. Btw the other Kebab was for my wife.
