It was not on the menu but the (female) server was nice enough to... read more 1 star for scamming on tip. 4 stars on quality of food The pho with crispy duck was delicious. It was not on the menu but the (female) server was nice enough to substitute it with duck for 7.50 euros which i was fine with it. When it came time to pay, i gave her 10 euros and she asked if i like it. I said it was delicious as she took the 10 euros, put it in her purse and CLOSED it!! She stood there for a few seconds without a word. When a few seconds more passed n she was still standing there w her purse CLOSED, i had this odd feeling that she wasnt going to give me back my change of 2.50€ so i asked her, you 're going to give me back my change, right? She hesitantly said Yes and slowly opened up her purse and slowly dug out 2.50€. I was quite upset that she was forcing and tricking me into tipping her, and at more than 30%, to boot!! I come from a culture of tipping at least 15% and had every intention of tipping her esp when she was nice enough to substitute my order with the delicious duck. It would have been nice if she would let me tip her at my own freewill instead of scamming me. It was obvious that i was not a local and i speak with an accent but that is no way to scam your customers into tipping you. Anyway, like i said i totally enjoyed the pho. If you decide to eat there i hope you will be courages enough to call her on it if she tries to scam you on your change. It was an unfortunate and disappointing experience for me. Btw this is not the only time I 've experienced this trick . At my very first trip to Berlin, and also at a vietnamese restaurant, the server brought me the bill, pulled up a chair n sat in front of me and told me that the tip is not included. That time, i guess i was too tired n shock i reluctantly gave her a tip. Thanks to this first experience, Ive picked up the courage and am now calling them on it. Im Asian, female and was traveling alone on both occasions. I dont know if that is their target. Otherwise, Berlin is an amazing city. Have a blast!!

The place w... read more We chose this restaurant because it was near the Turkish market where have been. We took one of day menu and price of it was between 5,5 till 5,9 €. The place was small but it has a nice ambient and we hardly found a free table. Prices are great. I have taken rice noodle with beef and fresh vegetables. The taste was good. 5 of us have eaten for only 45 €. Enjoy like we did.
