It was a couple times in berlin. it has made Japanese inspired dishes a pretty good standard. they could be more for the western palette, but with that nothing is wrong. Nice to get friends for a, an Asian style cocktail. and meet some sushi.
We showed up for lunch with no reservation and were promtly showed to a free table. The restaurant seems to be very popular, so reserving beforehand is probably a very good idea. We had an excellent sushi meal with attentive and friendly staff in a...informal and friendly environment. Great choice for good food with friends or colleagues.
Usually this place requires a reservation as it is well frequented. All fish is visible at the counter. Seating is available at tables and at the bar. Service was ok, but could have been slightly more forthcoming and a bit more explaining would have been...appreciated. Kimchi salad as an appetizer and sushi variations for mains. Absolutely well presented and tasteful!
Had a lovely meal here on our last night in Berlin. We booked a table and would recommend you do this as it was a Tuesday night and very busy. Not somewhere to go if you want a leisurely meal and a few drinks but...ideal for us as we wanted an early night and so were in and out in less than an hour. (I believe they have a policy of maximum stay hour) Don't let the speed of service put you off, all the food was freshly prepared and thoroughly tasty, the tempura aubergine/eggplant with satay was our particular favourite but we didn't leave a scrap of anything else on our plates either. For all that it is very quick, we didn't feel rushed and were allowed to take our time over the menu (the couple beside us arrived after us and ordered first as they knew what they wanted) before actually ordering. The service is attentive and friendly and would definitely recommend if you're in the mood for sushi!
Haven't had softshell crab or a good California roll inside out in eons. The staff spoke English and German, super nice and helpful in my husband selecting sashimi. The restaurant is quaint with a small area of outside sitting on Kantstrasse. If you are craving...good sushi, we highly recommend it.

Delicious sushi, fast and friendly service. Accessible restrooms. PS: Can highly recommend the crispy tuna sushi.
Maybe we just went on a bad day but the customer service wasn’t the greatest. We asked two times for the menu to order more but were forgotten both times. The restaurant is definitely understaffed and it shows on the faces of the waiters/waitresses. The food was otherwise okayish for the prices. Wouldn’t come again.
Awesome place for food! Better have a reservation though coz they’re always full.
Far beyond our expectations! We ordered four types of sushi including the Kuchi Special Rolls, Vulcano Rolls, Spider Rolls, and the Sake Inside Out. Mindblowing when it comes to the mix of flavours. Additionally, they have an excellent dessert, a mango pudding with coconut milk. Its texture is breathtaking; it is a must try. Also, very nice and polite staff!

In kuchi you can enjoy an authentic Japanese cuisine and go to eat in a great atmosphere. the restaurant already makes a good impression from the outside, which has also confirmed when entering. the personal is very nice and hospitable and the whole restaurant is japanese furnished and very clean, also the sanitary area. to eat: the menu offers everything a good sushi restaurant has to offer. nigiri, maki, kalifornia rolls etc. I'm rather a friend of classic sushis and have ordered 36 maki rolls. next to avocado and gurke I also ordered thunfisch and lach. everything was really excellent. the gurke or avocado was not dipped and the fish was very tasteful. the kuchi is a recommendation!
