We came three people in for lunch at about 12 pm. There were no sandwiches left but the one on display in the cold counter. I wonder why they just didn 't make some more sandwiches? We couldn 't buy a mineral water, they only had some... home made water which we were not interested in. Generally bad customer service. Voor onze citytrip naar Berlijn was ik al op internet gaan zoeken naar de glutenvrije mogelijkheden. Ik kwam deze bakkerij tegen en ben meteen de eerste dag erheen gegaan. Wat een walhalla voor iemand met coeliakie! Verschillende soorten broden kan je uit kiezen en in de ochtend hebben ze een standaard broodje om op te eten of voor mee te nemen. Ik heb elke ochtend hier met mijn vriend ontbeten onder het genot van een lekker kopje koffie, kocht meteen een broodje mee voor onderweg en een soort powerbar (de ellen-bar). Echt super en ook nog eens betaalbaar!

Amazing, all bread and cakes are gluten-free and vegan.
Die kleine Bäckerei bietet eine Vielzahl von Broten, Brötchen und Kuchen an. Auf der Internetseite sind alle Inhaltsstoffe aufgelistet. Zudem besteht die Möglichkeit, Brote und andere Produkte online vorzubestellen. So kann man die Waren einfach abholen, wenn es einem passt. In Bezug auf die Konsistenz sind die Produkte eher kompakt, was an der Zubereitungsart liegt. Wer lieber Sauerteig als Hefeprodukte mag, sollte die Brotquelle in der Gärtnerstraße aufsuchen.
The Gluten free among us will find true pleasure in visiting this excellent Bakery. Of course what's on offer is available to all however only GF will understand the true magic of this strictly GF venue. The quality of the baking is A*, I started with a freshly made sandwich of goats cheese and homemade humous and one crisp, slightly sweetened pastry named Anna. However I couldn't stop myself from ordering two more cakes. The choices were vast- I narrowed it down to a chocolate brownie with burnt caramel named Vivi and a poppy seed vanilla cake which I forget the name of but you can see the theme- all sweets are named after ladies and all savouries after Men. Even this little touch draws you in.All bread recipes are clearly marked so you know exactly what is in store for you and the staff and seating area are lovely to boot. I will happily rave about this delightful cafe and hope more stumble across it.
