It’s annoying community seating, which was awful as I wound sitting next to a family of five, with 2 small children and an infant. Their little girl sat next to me and kept leaning over with her hair landing on my chopsticks. It’s also not obvious that the giant covered tub in front of you is where to find the ginger.

The service is quick and the dishes are wonderfully tasty, satisfying and inexpensive. Good kimchi, great, soup with salmon shoulder, great Sushi menus, available with a discount most of the time. But all dishes are delicious! I have been in this specific Ishin (there are 4 or 5 different Ishin branches in Berlin) may be 50 times and it was always, always great!
