If you're on my way to Charlottenburg, you can take a break! The pub is very cozy furnished! No matter where you look, you find something new! I had my fun! The staff is very friendly and accommodating! View all feedback.
What Samara Dicki doesn't like about Harp Pub:
Very horrible customer service. Not only they forgot our order but one of the staffs (seemed like manager or higher) yelled to our table as if we stole someones’s order. Very rude, and no respect whatsoever to their customers. We wanted to support local restaurants after closing for several months but this is what we got instead. Never going back. Good luck with training basic customer services. View all feedback.
First of all the serving size didn't match its price tag which is my first disappointment. Secondly, there was little to no meat and only consisted of mashed potato and cheese. Very disappointed with my experience here.
We were here three years ago and since then, nothing's changed, not even the fat in the chip fryer. Chips are soggy, dark and tasteless, The burgers are overdone, in my modest opinion and the sauces are quite bland. One order was not complete; coleslaw was missing. Furniture is wobbly, to say the least. I picked up one chair and was afraid it would fall apart. Staff are friendly, drinks are okay, music terrible. Will probably not come back.
Went for a big darby match and began to sing fo my teamand was told buy waitress tobe quite as there was a quize nite going onand no singing or chanting allowed wow good old german rules in play but allmoktook 25 fans to oscar wilde pub and made welcome this irish harp had its day in the 80s nowgerman ownened and no craicjk
Got here for Champs League kick off and it was nicely busy - good atmos for the FCB game. Good mix of fans and friendly enough. Then I tried to order a beer at the bar "sorry table service only no service from the bar" ok bit odd but we can work with that. Found a space near a table and waited to catch one of the (few really busy) waiters. Not a chance, like many around me with empty glasses and clearly waiting for food it was hopeless. After 15 mins waiting politely a harassed waitress zoomed by me and dumped two drinks on the table next to me for 2 lads clearly suffering from dehydration. I asked if I could order a pint of pilsner "nine" was the sharp answer, now either I was getting 9 beers or I was getting zip. I left shortly after as neither of the above was a great outcome. Shame as it could have been a fun night.
Looking for a booze up & food. We always expect the Irish pub export would deliver. It did. Granny's carpet, wall to wall repro signs, niches, nooks & snug, wooden perches, bar, counter the works..... bit of sport on telly and a great beer garden at front did not disappoint. For a Friday night, not exactly rocking but we found some locals to annoy, amuse and glean info, in that order. Guinness v.good. Food - burger good but curry wurst nothing special. Good chips. Not overtly touristic as a little off the beaten track, though only a few hundred meters from Kurfürstendamm. Str.Manager served us and was most helpful, great and professional. One of his girls was rather dour and prompted for a tip. Nice - it had already been given. Perhaps just like back home. We finished a mess. Job was done.....karaoke next. Yes we did, with said locals. Shocking.
